Sounds like you are having issues with your console @CoachZeke, I've never had any issues with an EA game crashing on my PS5 or issues with lag.
What steps have you tried to improve your network and look into your console issues?

I'm trying to launch ANY game through the EA app and nothing launches. All games crash on startup. It's not my hardware. Your launcher needs serious work, sometimes the mouse cursor doesn't even line up in the launcher, but does with the rest of my desktop and every other app. Please address these issues and stop blaming hardware or the users.

OK, HERE IS THE SOLUTION WHICH SOLVED BOTH ISSUES FOR MY SYSTEM ("getdeviceremovedreason" and no error crash using the EA App) I had with my brand-new PC I built within the last few days.
Here is my Build, BIOS and GPU Drivers with the most recent updates.
Windows 11 Education 64-Bit
MSI Z790 Tomahawk DDR4
Intel i7-13700K 3.4Ghz
Kingston Fury Beast 3600 MHZ (32GB *4 )128GB DDR4 (which is in the QVL List)
SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe Gen 4 Gaming (*2)
Thermaltake ToughPower 1000W
As you can see, excellent, recent and solid components, no reason to have any issues whatsoever. As mentioned, I got both DirectX error messages "getdeviceremovedreason," which would crash the game to desktop, and the regular crash to desktop with no error whatsoever. It would happen to all games played through the EA App, which led me to believe it was an issue with the App, but it was not. And once it completely crashed my system and restarted it (which was concerning since it was brand new). When the crash rebooted my PC, the red light on my MSI motherboard remained on conspicuously long; upon review, that was the DRAM light, which would indicate something was wrong with the memory.
I went in the BIOS and realized the XMP Profile for both channels was on. I made sure it was off and went into the settings to make sure it said XMP: Disabled. I rebooted the PC and it has not happened in 2 days now.
TL;DR
DISABLE any XMP utility or anything that would modify the memory settings/speed of your RAM. The EA App does not handle it correctly and crashes the App to the desktop without justification.
Hope this fixes the issue for a lot of people cause it was so frustrating building a brand-new pc and being able to game for a max of 10-15 minutes before the game crashes for no logical reason.

I have a PC I built this year latest gen intel CPU, 64gb of RAM, a 3070, the best piece of hardware I've been lucky enough to have by far, and I've been having the same issues as ya'll, any game on EA Play app starts up has a black screen and then immediately crashes with no error messages.
I wanted disabling XMP utility to work but I already have all of this disabled when I checked my BIOS.
I only have this problem when accessing games through the EA Play app. I can play Cyberpunk 2077 easily through Steam while streaming on Twitch. If was experiencing a hardware issue I'd imagine that 300 hours of gaming/streaming that I've done with that game would have brought any issues to light. But I can't play Dead Space 2 through EA Play.
EA needs to get their sh!t together (they wont).
