EA games won't open

When I open the game via the EA app, I receive a message saying, "The game could not be started. Please restart it due to a technical problem on our side."
crashing
shutdown issue

Are you getting this with every game, or just a specific one?

Also, just to check: what troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
