EA Launcher doesn´t install in choosen directory

I want to install it on a slave SSD drive I use for gaming but can only change the game install folder location.  I remember with the Origin app you could choose and it would even detect previously installed game.  All other launchers work this way and this issue has been going on for years at this point.  

Anyone have fix, I tried powershell and either my copy/pasta skills are bad but I couldn't get that to work either.
