EA Launcher doesn't launch games.

This is STILL an issue. 

What the actual hell? It's 2025 and still the same issue. Does EA only want money or they want to deliver games to their customers??? STILL NO FIX??

3 years and they can't still fix this, amazing, no wonder why nobody buys ea games anymore, I just wanted to play Titanfall 2

bro I just wanna play my fifa kickoffs and listen to music why can't they not fix this issue, EA pls fix you dog**bleep** launcher or give the game to Steam they'll handle it much better!

To anyone who runs into this problem where you can’t launch games through EA, The only thing I’ve tried that works for me is launching the game through a mod manager.

What you should do in simple steps:

1. Download frosty mod manager (what I used), or any mod manager/organizer compatible with your game.
2. Allow the app to browse/load your games files.
3. Finally Try to launch the game from the mod manager itself.

Doing it this way got me back into my mass effect games and battlefront 2 after years of dealing with the launch bug shutting me out. the only other solution is literally creating a new user on your own computer. 

To EA: This specific launching bug that prevents customers from using products sold to them in good faith, has been an issue since The Original origin app went out of service. It has never been fixed; it likely never will be. Please just develop a new App or Revert back to origin. the current app is just bad. lets just hope no new game has this bug at launch, right?

I know this is 2 years late but holy **bleep** THANK YOU. The amount of bull**bleep** fixes I went through to fix but it still didn't work. Your fix WORKS for me.

I didn't have to login to the new user account. The game finally managed to launch after I finished your "Change it to Admin" step.

Hi everyone. I had the same problem with NFS and Battlefront II. Tried everything, but nothing worked, except this: Go to C:\Program Files\EA Games and temporarily move the folder for the game to a different place.

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop.
2. Right-click on EADesktop.exe.
3. Choose Run as Administrator.
4. Start the download and pause it after 30 seconds.
5. In C:\Program Files\EA Games, copy the content of the old folder for the game into the new folder for the game.
6. Resume the download.

Originally i had the game folder on D:\ i moved the game folder to C:\Program Files\EA Games then started downloading, it ended and game works now perfectly. (i skipped step 5 and 6)
