Error code 0xc0000022 with EALink.exe

I get error 0xc0000022 a lot with applications of all sorts. It's annoying but I can usually get away with running as administrator aside from a few issues like not being able to use my NAS without setting it up manually, but with EA games that I own on Steam, I get the error for EALink.exe. Running as admin doesn't help, and I can't open the EA app either. I cannot play any of my EA games because of this error.
