Error message when trying to purchase an add-on for The Sims 4

please can anyone tell me why the book nook kit not available for purchase on the EA app

@shrooq997 I logged into the app, went into the store and searched book nook, and was able to see it in the store.

When you search this, what shows up for you?

The same picture, but when I enter on the kit i don't see a price,i only see not available for purchase.

@shrooq997 Thanks. Took a look into it, it's due to region differences with the EA App Store. Sadly that is not something we have the ability to change.

I have been trying to purchase the Book Nook kit without being able to enter a payment method.

Furthermore, I have not been getting any replies from EA.

Product - Sims 4 Book Nook kit.
Platform - PC.
The issue you are having - Not being able to purchase the kit (getting error message saying ref. #OFFERNOTPURCHASABLE - the kit has been out for several months).
Steps if any you have taken - Tried reaching out to EA Help, got a resume case message which lands me back to opening a new case, but didn't actually got respond to my case, I've checked my email several times but the only update is that my case was opened.
Are cases being closed - No, the case is stuck on status "waiting for player" (but there is nothing to reply to).
Are cases being responded by different advisors - No, still waiting for a reply.
Any additional info - Added a screenshot of the error, I am not from a prohibited region, own all other TS4 add-ons and tried to clear caches. When I try to purchase from the app I get error message, when I try to purchase from the website, the website is stuck in loading screen.

I have a possible solution for everyone who’s not from the prohibited regions!

I managed to buy the kit on epic games and when I connected it to my ea app it allowed me to install the kit!

I’m convinced this is some sort of a bug because ea app was the only platform that’s not allowing to purchase the kit especially now that I actually own the kit. 
You should try it maybe it will work for you too.

anyone who is having this problem and is in one of the countries listed as prohibited (I’m in one of them) just use a VPN set as USA and you can download it without any issues ..  at least that’s what worked for me. No idea why it is prohibited specifically for us but at least I found a work around.

Hello, for some reason I can't purchase the book nook kit for the sims 4, I repeatedly get this error message whenever I try:

"We had some trouble processing your request... try again a little later. [ref. #OFFERNOTPURCHASABLE]"

Or when I try to add the kit to the cart then I get an error message from the cart that says: "We're having trouble updating the cart. Try again later."

I've tried purchasing the kit from the website but it won't load, I've tried from the in-game options but that also doesn't work, I've cleared the app cache, I'm not using any VPN and I've managed to purchase other kits no problem, this one is the only one that causes issues.

Help?
