Error "Something went haywire"

I'm getting a error saying "Something went haywire" when trying to download dlc for Battlefield 3 through the EA desktop app. I've cleared app cache, deleted game and reinstalled and im still getting...

@aminvtl it worked for me to install it to C:\Program Files.
My suspicion is that something is hardcoded in the installer and it cannot be installed somewhere else.
