Error when trying to log in to EA play through xbox (gamepass) app on PC

I get this error:

{"error":"Internal server error","error_description":null,"error_code":null,"code":107019}

when trying to install any EA app through the Xbox app for PC.
I press install, and it brings me to a login page for the EA app and once I log in I get this error.

Nothing I tried (restarting my PC, resetting the Xbox app in the settings, deleting and reinstalling EA, changing my password) worked and the customer support agent couldn't help me either.
