Expansion Packs

I own/purchased a few of the expansion packs. For example, the high school years, discover university, get famous, and get to work. I was wondering why i have to buy them again in order for it to work. I paid for each of these packs and either want a refund or be able to play them properly.

I also own/purchased the game packs spa day and dine out.

I also own/purchased the stuff packs tiny living and my first pet.
