Hi all,
I have scoured every webpage I could find for a solution to this issue. When launching Battlefield 1, the game goes to the "preparing game" every time, then loads the Battlefield 1 logo screen before opening the EA app, to "Failed to launch game. An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later". I purchased and installed the game through Steam.
I have been trying to launch the game over various days and different times, as I thought the internet traffic may be impacting the issue, but it appears to make no difference.
I have installed and reinstalled the game several times, as well as the EA app. It doesn't appear to make any difference when launching from Steam or the EA app.
One thing I will note is that the game does not appear to have created a file under the "C:\Users\*****\Documents", which I thought was strange. The game has not made a file in OneDrive either.
All drivers and Windows updates are installed and at the latest version.
My firewall does not detect the app either. I had to manually put in a firewall approval for the various .exe files in the install.
If anyone has a solution, I would love to hear it, as I am very close to asking for a refund at this stage.

I'm having the same issue too - "an error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later" - just started happening today. So frustrating
