Failed to stage update - ea app

I'm now on my 5th try of trying to update the EA app, and every single time, after it finishes, I get the error of "update has failed to stage."

I did the app recovery part already, because I can't do anything else in terms of trying to fix the error.

I'm getting really sick of this. Half of the time when I start it for the day I have to right click and run in admin mode because it crashes, it's getting ridiculous.
