    It looks like this issue has been resolved.

    However, if you continue to experience the issue, please let us know by creating a new thread and sharing an EA app Error Reporter ID as this thread will soon be closed.

A much better workaround that seems to have worked for me is to uninstall the EA App, reinstall, and upon the very first screen of installing through the xbox "see in ea store" link I selected customize download and selected the new drive location for downloading games. It now works! No sketchy programming!
