Friends list doesn't load in EA Desktop app, but works on Origin.

As the title says, EA Desktop does not load the friends list but displays a message that says "An error occurred and your friends list could not be located. Try again soon.". This has been happening ...

@EA_Jason Hasn't this been fixed yet?
When I log into Origin using my EA login I can see all my friends
When I log into EA App (Beta) with the same login it can't find my friends list
When I play a EA play game on Xbox SX (same account but linked to Xbox Live) like NFS Heat for example then I can't see my friends, except for one. But they can see me.

So it's impossible to play those EA play games together with friends. Will this ever be fixed?

Same problem for me. I tried everything and the problem is still here..
