Hi again,
Just providing an update to my issue: despite following all standard troubleshooting steps suggested by the community and support, the friends list and username are still not showing up in my EA App.
Here’s everything I have done additionally since my original post:
- Fully cleared EA App cache multiple times.
- Allowed EA App and its background services through my Windows Firewall and antivirus settings.
- Flushed DNS, reset Winsock, and reset network settings.
- Changed DNS server to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
- Logged into EA website via browser first and then opened EA App to attempt token refresh.
- Reinstalled the EA App after manually clearing %localappdata% and %appdata% folders.
- Reinstalled and updated network drivers.
- Tried accessing my EA account from a different device and network — still the same issue.
- Contacted EA Help multiple times (latest EA Help Case ID: #209439340), but so far, the only response has been that feedback was submitted — the issue itself remains unresolved.
I am still able to play single-player online games like The Sims 4 and access the online gallery, but my EA App shows me offline and does not load friends list or username. My friends also see me as offline when they try to invite me for co-op games like It Takes Two.
At this point, I strongly believe the issue is related to a backend synchronization problem with my account’s social and presence services.
I would truly appreciate if a senior advisor or technical team member could look into this and advise if a backend resync/reset can be performed on my account to fix this.
Thank you very much for your continued support and understanding!
