"Game is launching" pop-up after game has launched or exited

Summarize your bug The pop-up that says a game is launching doesn't disappear after the game loads, or even after it is closed. I tested with Sims 4, Jedi Fallen Order, and Anthem, through multiple restarts and one game repair.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch a game, alt-tab to the EA Desktop App to see the pop-up, quit the game and look for the pop-up again. It should be hard to miss.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing important, I can close the pop-up manually, it's just annoying.
What do you expect to see? The pop-up to disappear when the game loads, or at least after it closes.

I restarted several times and tested three games (Sims 4, Jedi Fallen Order, and Anthem), all with the same result:

That pop-up is still present after quitting the game, even if I wait ten minutes after the game has been closed.  It doesn't affect functionality, and there's nothing in the Task Manager to indicate any game is still running; it's just mildly annoying.
