I've upgraded my pc lately so i wanted to have a quick format on my system drive which doesn't contain the games. When i opened the ea app and wanted to open the games bf1 worked just fine after downloading a few mbs meanwhile bfv started a new download, i waited for that download to finish for the whole night and after that bfv has just started to download itself again. Its really annoying since i have tons of games to download and that waisted my whole day. we need a solution to this ASAP
@OmarAhmedovic When this happens it typically comes down to a cached problem somewhere. Not always but more often than not. If it happens with another game or still happening do the following - Once down, resume the download again. I've done this a few times for this and other issues that crop up and they seem to help.
Pause the download/update
Close the EA App
EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
Keep the download paused
Delete Windows Temp Files
- First, make sure you close as many programs as you can
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
Optional Registry clean-up
- install CCleaner (it's free) from here
- Run Registry cleaner
- Click review selected issues
- Do you want to back up? No
- Click Fix all selected issues

I have done the Temp. Files but I can try again later. I did notice an odd thing though. Why are my said expansion packs and stuff pack, sperate from "The Sims 3" manage add-ons list? I do have a screenshot, so I'll edit my post after I get back.

I've tried ALL of your suggestions; however, it accomplished nothing. Still wants to redownload game (starts off at 0) that at 4:40 this morning C.S.T. was at 99% complete.
Took about 50 hours to download Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and this morning it should have been done, however, instead i found that it had restarted (was at around 6GB redownloaded when I checked before going to work).
Windows 11 desktop, Oklahoma, trying to install on internal SSD, (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a folder in Program Files, taking up 130 GB) have 500 GB of storage space available even after that 130 GB. Do have Steam app on computer, but do not see how this should interfere with downloading a new game in EA App.

went back and looked now there is no 130GB for Survivor. One of the steps I followed removed it. Thats fine, what is another 50+hours to download. What can I do to maybe get it to be successful? I will uninstall Steam, even though, if that works, my question is, why? But what else can I do please?
