Games Keep Vanishing

Everytime I go to install a new game it causes current games to vanish completely from my list that were already installed The Sims 4 is one that does it all the time. I installed Burnout Paradise Remastered and Mercs 2 and low and behold the The Sims play icon in installed games and gone missing again
