Games will not launch from steam

Having an issue where games will not launch neither from steam nor the EA launcher. This is only for Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012, and previously burnout paradise. I had refunded burnout paradise because of this issue and now im having the same problem with NFS. NFS unbound works completely fine, however NFS MW 2012 just does not launch, what happens instead is that it says running in steam, EA launcher says "preparing game" and then nothing happens, and the EA launcher just re opens back to the home page. Literally nothing happens. Can someone help me? Does it have something to do with it being an older game? Maybe there is a reason why burnout paradise and NFS MW 2012 wont launch? It used to launch before back in the origin days.

    The EA App is terrible, it ruins any gaming experience.

    In my case I'm playing "Need for Speed™ Hot Pursuit Remastered" (Steam Version) and several times the game starts without sound and other times the game window is hidden.

    And there is still the problem of "achievements / trophies" that appear duplicated and very small in size, it simply does not identify the correct Windows resolution with scale zoom.

    Same issue but with BF2042. It will try to launch and get to preparing game and then nothing happens. The process is hanging in the background though and some time later it will randomly launch. If I reboot then it'll launch without issue the first time. If I log out of EA app and then launch it again it'll come back all black with just the menu on the left. I've tried to repair it but the issue still occurs.
