There's a petition circulating that is calling EA to either stop with the login to play (non multiple player games) OR give the users (EA-APP OR Origin Launcher) a full refund to games they can not access. I should have signed it when I had the chance. I have well over $2500 invested in games. If I can some across the link, I'll share it. EA will probably "ban" my account again after this post.
Where they are not helping, there answer everytime is"Thanks for contacting EA help. My name is ---------, I'll assist you further.
I see you're experiencing ads issues in the game. Don't worry, I'll have a look" after a few days i get this "EA announced its plans to replace the Origin PC client, and now the new app is finally beginning to roll out. Supposedly, it's a much lighter and faster experience with a more streamlined design.
Please follow the given link and download the EA App:-
And please feel free to contact us back if you need any other assistance.

I checked the "contact us" option in the so-called "help" center, and if you select the ea app, it just plain doesn't let you go any further! So they are ACTIVELY AVOIDING ANSWERING FOR THIS MISTAKE!

lies, the app itself takes more resources to run and take up more space and memory

it is possible the latest origin version shows the popup by default reguardless of what it sees or doesn't see. (but from what I've seen, the changes probably just redirects the popup to an invalid thing, or makes the trigger invalid)
But for me I didn't have to change the origin exe, just stop it from updating.
