How do I bypass the EA App forced installation and access Origin to play games. I cannot open Origin. It is forcing to install the EA app that does not work! The EA app is broken. Purchased conten...

This doesn't work for me. I don't have a MAC. Please give us PC folk something to work with.

@brook853 These instructions do work for Windows. Every Windows OS since Windows 1.1 has had Notepad on it. It is a core windows program.

Go to your start menu and then type "notepad" to bring it up. Drag the XML into Notepad and then edit it. However, you will need to give yourself permission to this folder and if you don't know how to do that I'm far too lazy to explain that. Especially since Windows changes how that works with each version.
