How to fix connection failed?

I just installed EA app on my laptop, downloaded FC24 alright, started FC24 alright, but won't let me into FUT.

I got out and the EA app status indication is Grey, which means offline. I tried to set it to online, and this pops up.

Connection Failed. We couldn't connect you to other players. Reload and try again.

I reinstalled the app, didn't work. I am pretty sure I am connected to the internet.

What is the solution in this case?
