Hi Leeuw,
I'm curious to why this is an issue on your new and shiny application you FORCED us to upgrade to.
If you're going to FORCE your users to upgrade to a new application, why aren't you ensuring the new product is actually working as intended before you FORCE your users to make the swap to the new and unstable platform which denies your customers access to the licensed products they have purchased a license for?
Don't you have a QA team to ensure the quality of products before you release them?
Why are you placing the troubleshooting process on your users instead of solving the issue with YOUR product that YOU guys developed and KNOWS how it works and is DESIGNED?
We, the users, have no idea.
So why are you placing this burden on us?
We've already paid for QA AND SUPPORT in the price of the licensed product, that is EU consumer law regulations.
So why are you outsorcing the QA and Support work to your users who aren't contracted to EA or any of your subsidiaries and who aren't paid for the time they invest into doing EA Support and QA departments job?
Most of us have jobs, families, hobbies, responsibilites and things to do in life.
We don't have time to troubleshoot the problems YOU introduce to YOUR products and then FORCE us to upgrade to.
Meaning, in essence; you are FORCING ISSUES onto your customers.
How are you OK with this?
What's the reasoning behind this, outside for PROFIT?
You're saving millions on QA and support for your products by placing this burden on your customers who you give NOTHING in return for the time they invest into working for EA without any contract, security, insurance, pay, or anything at all?
How can you be so arrogant to demand that your users work for you, for free, no - even worse, WE ARE PAYING YOU, TO WORK FOR YOU, FOR FREE?
EA should strongly reconsider their position when it comes to this unethical and immoral practice of psychological warfare on your customers.
Because that's exactly what it is when this goes on for a decade and you merely keep gaslighting us into believing it's our own fault for not being able to access the products we have purchased and therefore paid for already.
Would you be OK with going to a restauraunt and pay for a meal which you then have to cook and serve for yourself and when you finally get to taste it, it's not very edible at all.
Would you seriously pay for this? NO.
Then why in the seven hells are you asking us to do so?
Wake up, you're actively hurting your own community and punishing your customers for spending money on your products.
