Got the same problem here. It's been a few days. Totally furious.
with all due respect,
being unable to install or run this app has nothing to do with anything or any one config on a per-user basis,
and everything to do with the scale of telemetry and collection,
this app is the same as its predecessors - an excuse to harvest information,
my question is, if you can't even successfully install it or run it on any good machine,
then why don't you just peel back all the telemetry to minimal, and fake the rest of it?
your bosses receiving fake telemetry would make zero difference to the quality of EA as a publisher,
meanwhile your users would be playing games, instead of thinking up conspiracies and theories of how to make this worm filled botnet actually work, when it never will.
