Hi guys, I have a solution. Close Ea desktop, and open / install origin. It will start to recognize the downloaded files of Bf3, if you get an error about some dc (Xpack 2, 3 4 ) or whatever, just go to the installation folder and delete said Xpack 4 or 5 folder. Origin will continue to download all dlcs. There is a possibility that deleting these folders will cause the installer to pause. Well, close origin and reopen it holy crap! lol it makes me laugh how much we have to do to make this work. I hope it serves you. ps> these apps are terrible
I have a similar issue except my EA Play is done via Game Pass Ultimate for both Xbox and PC.
I can download the main game of Battlefield 3, but I get an error when the DLC starts to download. I've tried installing/uninstalling the EA Play App, Origin, Xbox Game Pass and it still happens.
When I go to the Origin website in the Games List for EA Play it shows up Battlefield 3 and states that it has been purchased, yet when I click on it, it asks me to purchase it or view in library. When I click View in Library, nothing shows up.
I have tried the method that @madkingdom suggests, but that doesn't work as Origin doesn't pick up Battlefield 3 at all. The EA Play App or EA Desktop as it's named, has the Xpack folders in them. However, deleting them has no impact on the issue. I still receive the error when downloading DLC.
I'm currently trying to download Battlefield 1 and DLC to see if that gives me the same issue. Will report back if it's happening with that title. Hopefully it's just a Battlefield 3 issue.

Okay, I was able to download both Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4, plus all of the DLC that comes with it. So, it seems to be just an issue with Battlefield 3 and it's DLC.

@incogTV I believe it is. It is like the two can't sync with one another.
