I'm having a similar issue. I've downloaded BF3 but when it comes time to download the DLCs I get this error (See attachment). I've tried canceling, and re-installing.
@JiinxyB We are all having the same issue mate. I just bought a copy of the game on PC as the Battlefield 3: Reality Mod is coming out on the 19th and I really wanted to try it.
Same issue over here, It's so annoying.
Well, what worked for me is what @SpitfireSpud said.
I closed the EA App, opened Origin and it automatically started downloading DLCs for BF3 but I got an error. I deleted folders "Xpack2,3,4,5" (InstalationFolder\Battlefield 3\Update), restarted Origin and it began to download without any issue.- @skaffiik_ Are you installing BF3 using gamepass? I open Origin with BF3 installed on EA and nothing happens. Origin doesn't even recognize it as being purchased thru gamepass and installed.
Did you download the game on a different drive than where the EA app is installed? I had this dlc download problem until I downloaded BF3 on the same drive as the EA app and then magically the DLC didnt get an error on install
Hey i read the post cuz same problem but install on the same drive didnt work eather. Idk what ea have for a problem this app is just horrible...
- @SpitfireSpud same reason I want it too. Nothing like giving someone your end of the transaction and them not doing the same. I love that ea makes us do work to get their games working when we're the ones giving them money.
i contact support and the only answer was we will investigated lol EA ur piece of crap compagny and u know it .
Hey Guys somehow i made it to download the dlc. I just deinstalled the xbox app (Main-Game was installed on the ea ap), then installed it again, logged in, started the ea app and deinstalled the game once, then i installed it on the C drive (same as ea and xbox app) and now it works. I don't know if this helps anyone but yeah (sorry if my english is bad lol)
