I can't switch my status online on new ea app
Hi team,
It seems I have an issue with the new ea app. After a few months, I wanted to start playing sims 4 again. I heard that origin was discontinued so I uninstalled it and installed the new ea desktop app.
I can log into my account ok but the problem is that I can't seem to be able to switch my status to 'online'. Every single time, I get the error 'presence update - failed ea an error occurred when trying to change your status. try again'. I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and even running the program as an administrator but to no avail. Since I can't connect online, this won't let me connect online for the sims 4 also which is frustrating. Because of this, I can't access my gallery nor receive any new sims deliveries.
Please help me fix this ea!!!!
