I granted EA full disk access but Sims 4 still isn't downloading

I tried to play Sims 4 but it told me I have to download the EA app (I used to use Origin) so I did. I tried to download the game and packs but it said something went wrong and a window popped up saying I had to grant EA full disk access. I did but every time I try to resume download it keeps saying the same thing. I'm not sure if there's another application I have to grant access as well but it's just not working and I'm so confused. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!
