Try switching over to the EA app:
Thanks.
i alredy use ea app
Months ago I format my pc and reinstall everything but i installed EA app yesterday and i see that 'expired' problem
I have the same error I bought BF1 from steam and have been playing it every now and then. I have played it for around 150 hours during both the origin and ea app times. No it is shown as expired eventhough I bought it directly from steam and played it via ea app before.

Same issue here :/
I think it has to do with the fact that there are 2 versions of BF1 (trial and owned) and for some reason the EA Desktop App is displaying the trial version only.
I confirmed this when reinstalling Origin (there are 2 BF1's) and I verified it on the EA App (My profile -> Games, shows 2 BF1's).
I already contacted support, and am still waiting on a response.
@EA_Barry I even bought the premium package and "paid more" to a game that I can not even play so that it would show the game restored and playable and when I did this yesterday I was able to. It was all fine since this always have been the way of EA of supporting it's customers but it started not to work again! Now i started to get this error instead. Huge advancement on the way to solve the actual problem 🙂 Maybe I should buy the game once again everytime I wanna play, @EA_Barry what do you think?
- @EA_Barry Are you gonna fix that ?

How can I reach out to support? They don't even respond to my emails.
I experienced a similar issue.
I reached out to EA customer support multiple times. Initially, they seemed unable to resolve the problem, despite confirming that I owned the game on my account. The first agent advised clearing the cache and reinstalling the EA app, while another suggested I needed an EA subscription to play the game. A different agent recommended contacting Amazon Prime, claiming they controlled key access (Twitch Prime Gaming support denied having such access and stated it was an EA issue). Then, another agent contradicted this, saying I had to repurchase the game from their store.
Then finally, I connected with a representative who understood my situation and escalated my case to a game developer.
The game developer acknowledged the issue and assured me that they had experience dealing with similar problems and would work on a solution. They also confirmed that there was no need to repurchase the game since it was already on my account.
Three months later, I was able to install the game. However, upon the first launch, it displayed a message stating "Your trial has expired." I contacted support again, explained the entire situation, and they were able to remove the trial status for me.
I hope this information is helpful to someone facing a similar issue.
