I'm highly upset with this app !

   I can't even open the EA app to get on Sims4 and play.  Every time I try it says something is wrong with my Wifi and that I should try again and even when I do it still does not even let me play. and then when I tried to get on the EA website to try report this weird behavior it also failed too open, it even made me install the EALauchhelper and it still did not work Ive only been for one day and this happens

    I am having the same problem. Everything worked fine earlier today, but for about two hours now I have not been able to log into the EA App. I also have to error code 10005.

  • SAME HERE!   Can't even reinstall the app.  Nothing works!  It won't work on my PS4 either.... keeps saying I'm not connected to internet....yet here I am! 😡

    I had this issue all day today as well. I had pretty much the same issue with totally unrelated app on my PC exactly at the same time, so I thought it might be something unrelated to EA.  I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but as soon as I updated my graphic card (Nvidia), the issue went away. (The new driver release happed today, looks like.) Oh, and now both of my apps are working fine. 

  • I am also having the same issue :( !!!! I changed my password 4 times already and you know what is crazy, I was able to login for a few mintues and I was so happy then I exit the app just to double check was so happy!! But then I tried to login 5 hour later then this appears again, I got my hopes up and all day yesterday this kept coming up!!! 

     

  • Update: The issue has been fixed (on my end, at least). I finally noticed the date and time on my computer was incorrect. I opened up the date/time settings and synced it. After that, the EA app opened no problem.

    Same issue! Things I've tried that have NOT worked:

    1. Restarted my computer.
    2. Updated Windows and restarted again.
    3. "Repair" the app instead of uninstall (from the uninstall option).
    4. Uninstalled & reinstalled. Seemed to work until I logged in, then the error popped up again.
    5. Open in admin.
    6. Open the updater.
    7. Open the updater in admin.
    8. Connect to a different WiFi network.
    9. Clear the cache.
    10. Multiple combinations of the above.

    Update: I tried launching the app the next day and it started downloading an update. After the update finished, it launched without issue.
