There is no reason the app needs access to accounts for people who have not bought the games. No reason for it to have access to a minor's account. So I'm trying to find out how to get access to my already purchased games even though the new EA installed requires admin permissions it should not require since it should never be touching those accounts.
Basically, I've already purchased my games - there's no "well we changed the installer and now you have to grant us this access to play them" that's acceptable.

You can try running the app/installed as admin but if you continue to see the error I would recommend setting the admin rights on your account.

If the new EA App requires Admin rights, then I need a way to install my already purchased games without the EA App. I'm more than willing to do that.
The only unacceptable answer is "we've retired the Origin App and now there are additional rights we require to install your games". That's putting in a barrier after the sale.

You can continue to use Origin @Aelaen.
An installer requiring admin permissions is pretty common.
Darko- @EA_Darko Not anymore, although people do try to hack their way around it. While its true that more software in general are wanting permission on first installs, some should not be accepted and its hard for regular users to know wtf accepting it would mean.
I agree with Aelaen, consumers that bought something, often is more in the firing range than those who get the game illegally. going through hoops to play a bought product that one might not be able to always refund.
It would be less outragous if one had to root people devices with all of these gaming softwares compared to what is done to console consumers.
Also that these apps can add more security risks towards the consumers, so I would suggest if you can't play the games Aelaen, is to try to get a refund if just bought it and can't play it.
