The names of the missing games (please just name a handful): every Sims 4 DLC I've purchased through EA/Origins (Vintage Glamour Stuff, Vampires, Toddler Stuff, Tiny Living)
The date when this issue first started: Yesterday, Feb 13th 2024
Your current EA app version: 13.127.0.5640
Your EA app Error Reporter ID (provide it in this thread): no error message. In the EA app any EA purchased DLC says "installed"; any Steam purchased DLC says "manage on Steam". Steam however does not recognize that I own EA purchased DLCs (it did for years until yesterday). In games says missing EA purchased DLCs and to restart. Restart does not correct.
More info: I've played Sims 4 through Steam almost everyday since 2021. Yesterday I opened Steam, pressed play on Sims 4 in my library and it wouldn't launch. Steam error codes were 1) "launch game... error not found", and 2) "failed to start ... canceled by user" (I didn't cancel). See screenshots attached. After removing mods, clearing local caches and verifying file integrity through Steam (no errors), and restarting everything, I uninstalled and reinstalled Sims 4 through Steams. The game still would not start. That's when I noticed the EA app wasn't popping up and connecting as it normally does in the background. Going through my Windows Finder I discovered the EA folder was still there with icons, but the app install itself was missing (how?). I downloaded and reinstalled (newly installed?) the EA app. After logging into my EA account through the app I was able to start Sims 4 through Steam (my recent save file was still available), however the game says half my DLCs are missing (see screenshot). The EA app shows that I own all the DLCs, distinguishing those localled "installed" vs those "managed by Steam" - see screenshot however Steam only recognizes the DLCs I've purchases through Steam; Steam no longer recognizes that I own all the EA purchased DLCs (it always has previous to yesterday).
I've confirmed I'm logged into the correct EA account. I can see all my DLCs in the EA app. I've only ever had one Steam account.
The EA DLCs are not on my PC. I've tried searching my PC files for the EA "installed" DLC but it can not find them. A search for "GP09" (Star Wars: Journey to Batuu) which the EA app lists as installed can not be located by my finder. See screenshot again.
I've google this as a Steam and EA problem, trying everything the internet suggests before finally finding this thread. The DLC's aren't listed as missing in my EA app but the problem started yesterday and is related to EA. Help???
How do I remove / reinstall EA DLCs? I've tried Manage Add-Ons but the app insists these are installed. When I try to "play" a DLC (for ex: Journey to Batuu) through the EA app, of course it launches through Steam, and then the game still tells me that DLC is missing.

here's proof I'm not a pirate, I screenshot confirming I purchased Batuu through EA. And proof that my EA and Steam accounts are connected.

I found EA folders in my PC showing the missing DLCs but they seem to be empty. I've also figured out how to "add non-steam games to steam" which would seem to be the way to have it recognize my EA purchases but ... where are they?
