it happened today when I needed to change from origin to ea and tried to open it. It does not open so I cant see the version.
CM edit: please don't include a serial number.
Im also having the same issue and have tried anything.
Is there any way to get rid of the pop up asking me to dowload the EA app?

Timestamp when the issue first occurred: 5/14/2024, and also 4/30/2024 when I was first forced to download the EA app.
When does the error occur: 100% of the time, not able to open the app
What is the current version of your EA app: Not able to open the app
do you have any updates for the people who replied with everything that was requested? (Mac model, OS, app logs, when the issue occurred, etc.?)
it seems like so many people are having this issue and we're not getting any responses or help
