Every time I have tried to open the EA app, it stays open for about a couple seconds (and more rarely for about a minute) before crashing. Occasionally, a window will pop up with the "The app crashed unexpectedly" message, and every time I click "RESTART APP" another window pops up saying that didn't work and to try again in a few minutes. I have tried running the app by opening the EA app, the EALaunchHelper, and opening The Sims 4 directly but it always results in a crash. The Sims 3 will open when I click directly on the application though that might be because TS4 needs to be updated through the app and TS3 does not need any update. I have also completely unistalled and reinstalled the app multiple times but that also hasn't worked. I have tried these instructions too: https://bluebellflora.com/2024/04/04/ea-app-recovery-for-mac-reset-ea-app-by-clearing-cache-and-other-files-manually/ which made the app stay open for a couple more seconds before crashing again. The app will not stay open long enough to do the clear cache/app recovery. Could there be a way to open Origin again to run games on Mac until this problem is fixed or at least an estimated time for when the app will be working again.

(edit: I have also successfully ran TS4 with the EA app mulitple times, the latest being about a month ago and it was fine. Nothing has changed other than maybe TS4 needing to be updated? I'm completely clueless about what's different now)
A couple weeks ago I posted here about problems with the EA app. The lack of response or solutions from EA is infuriating. I have spent so much money on a game that I can't even play. To sum up the post I've linked, I have tried (I think) every "solution" that has been given but the app still crashes or just does not work. All I want is a solution that works or some kind of response as to when the app will start working or even if Origin could be opened again until the problem is resolved. Thank you.
