So with the EA App Mirror's Edge is constantly doing this. No clearing of app cache or reinstalling EA App is fixing this. The game itself installs, the problem is it requires an update that puts the game state into what you can see below. Any help would be awesome cheers.

I checked and nothing seems to be interfering with the install of the update. The main game installs fine, but won't run without the update and thats when the issue arises. Never had this issue on Origin btw.
I can't even download Mirror's Edge via EA app (works in Origin though). I immediately get a download failure. The instructions in the "Address game download/install issues" post don't resolve this issue.
