My friends disappear time to time

I have had my friends on the list since EA Origin was still running, but after moving over to EA Play some of my friends have been disappearing and despite adding them again they re-disappear again for some stupid reason.

I can see all others who are offline, but not the ones that are gone. So you can't blame them being off or private because they're neither.

Anyone else having this issue?

Any fix to this *?
