My sims game won’t update
I click update and it completes the calculating time bit but then the app closes and this happens on repeat. I’ve reinstalled, cleared cache, restarted, and now idk what to do

Same here. I've tried everything. Nothing wrong with my broadband as I can download other things with no issues. Grr...
Edit: It took close to 3 hours for the game to update. EA really needs to do something about their servers.
How did you end up getting it to update? I know it took 3 hours but I can’t even get it past calculating the time
I quit the update when it just hanged around and checked my broadband connection and it was just fine. Tried to download a few things to make sure, like updating my drivers.
Restarted my computer and tried again, and just let it work. At a snails pace, it finally managed to download and install the tiny patch. I fear for what will happen once they release something big again. Kabooom!I’m sorry but what do you mean by drivers? This is why I will always prefer origin I had no problems with it and as soon as I had to switch to ea I’ve had problems
