Neither EA Application nor The Sims 4 will open on Mac

Question

Neither the Sims 4 nor the EA App will open on my Macbook. I just downloaded everything.

It opened once and then I have not been able to open either again. They both just bounce and then stop. They never open.

Very discouraging since I've spent hundreds of dollars on this game and now cannot play due to the new EA app issues.

Moved to the EA App forum as you need to get that working before even attempting to launch the game (which requires EA App).

Have you run the EA App recovery tool? EA App > Help > App Recovery
