EA Desktop App won't Launch

Please describe EA Desktop won't launch

Summarize your bug The EA Desktop App won't launch and it will say that there is an unresolvable error and to restart the app but it continues in a loop when I click restart the app.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch the App
What happens when the bug occurs? It loads but then states the message of an unresolvable error and won't launch the app.
What do you expect to see? The app won't launch and will continue in a loop.

I want to be able to launch the app and actually use it but I'm not so I'm using Origin for now.

    Hi everyone,

    A little update from our side:

    We did some investigating to why this is happening and we might have found the cause, which we're looking to fix. 

    Thank you for all the detailed examples so far and I'll let you know when I have an update to share. 

    UPDATE

    The specific issue that caused this has now been resolved. If you're still having issues, then please create a new thread with information.

    i saw in another thread that uninstalling and reinstalling would fix the bug, but but that did not work for me.

    @SummerSimmer15  EA desktop is having a lot of issues right now and the team are trying their best to fix it, we still have origin to use in the meantime

    I've had the same thing after the first installation. Open Task Manager, kill "EA Desktop" and try starting it again.

    @SummerSimmer15 I found a solution:

    - Navigate to the folder that the "EA Desktop" App is stored in
    - Run "EA Launcher" instead of "EA Desktop"

    I bet it has something to do with account persistance

    I'm having this same issue and attempted the suggestions above. I tried un-installing/re-installing. I tried rebooting. I tried opening EA Launcher instead. I cannot seem to get it to launch.

    Since my EA Play subscription is controlled by XBOX Game Pass, I can't use Origin either. I have to use EA Desktop.

    Any advice?

    For Everyone asking if I have fixed:

    I left it alone and just used Origin since I posted this. I tried it again a month ago and it seems to working fine, I don’t know if there was an update to fix this issue or if it just went away on its own. Before that though, I did try reinstalling multiple times and it never worked so I don’t know what fixed this issue. Thank you for your replies.
