update: 24 hours later and still not able to login. Now the sign in page isnt even loading, it just says that an unresolveable issue has occured

Community Manager@lexisimmer201 With that error, your actual internet connection has no real bearing, so your internet may be working fine but that isn't the issue. That error is a network error not a connection error.
See if this helps. I believe there is something blocking the EA App sign-in.
- Check data/time are correct
- Change UAC Controls within Windows
- Reset Windows Host File
- Try a new user account
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use
