NEW EA APP / Battlefield 4 Will NOT Launch

Hello all,

Since I installed the new 2022 EA app. yesterday to replace Origin for Windows 10, my BF4 game will not start anymore after the UAC authorization. The UAC will come back in a loop to ask for the authorization again and again and the new app keeps relaunching.   With Origin BF4, it would launch after the first UAC authorization.  I tried to do a new install of the EA app as admin, and I gave permanent admin access to the app., I have done a repair install of BF4, and I have tried to launch directly from Battlelog.   But nothing works.  Ironically, BF3 works perfectly.

Thanks in advance if someone has an idea or  the solution.  EA, please let me know if there will be a fix for this issue.

    Ok, fixed this.

    -  Removed "run as admin" from compatibility setting tab.

    -  Ensured I was logged into EA app.

    -  Ensured I was logged into Battlelog app. (with pings visible)

    -  Launch game from Battlelog.

    Worked for me!

    -  Ensured I was logged into Battlelog app. (with pings visible)

    -  Launch game from Battlelog.

    Worked for me!

    I have the same problem.  BF4 ran perfectly fine with Origin.  EA forced me to install EA App and it removed Original…now the damn thing just loads and reloads and reloads…over and over …Very frustrating!!

    I wish EA would help!!
    I have a ticket in place and talked with someone at EA…they just sent me some standard Windows network troubleshooting information.  Does nothing.

    Why did EA screw this up??

    My Battlefield 4 also wont lauch on the EA app, It does not even open. In EA app is says that it is running but nothing happens

    I right clicked on bf4.exe file and selected properties and unchecked the box "Run this program as an administrator" on the Compatibility tab and it worked for me.  Did not have to do anything else.  Hope this helps to others that have the same problem.

    Guys, what worked for me was following this video and then when you are in the programdata folder type 'ea' in the search bar and delete everything related to the ea app. (beware, there is other files and folders appearing in the search results, so make sure you only delete ea app files and folders). Then reinstall the ea app.

    I tried to launch through battlelog, it shows it is connecting, but never enters the game.. I exit and it just shows exiting and never exits.
