No way to resume download or verify files?

Download of Battlefield V was at 80% (whole game is 90gb and I was installing on a ssd that had 110gb of free space) then app suddenly crashed and logged me out, 70gb of game files still are on my ssd, but on the EA App it looks like I never started the download, there is no option to resume download from 80%, my only option is to start from begin, which I believe it would read the already existing files and then start from 80%, but the app won't let me do it since I have no space left to do it now, it is absurd that it requires 70gb + 90gb of free space to download a 90gb game. Is there any way to resume download or will I really need to start over?

    Hey @LuizSlayer,

    Welcome.

    I believe that the EA app will indeed scan for already downloaded files that are in the download folder of the game and start from there, however it could be that it's not something that the EA app is showing. Regarding the no free space left; because you have less now left on your SSD than the original size of the game, it can indeed be the case that the EA app now won't download/install the game because of this, since it sees the original size of the game as the size required to download/install the game.

    The best thing you can do at the moment is indeed manually remove the already downloaded files and then see if the EA app allows you to download/install the game again I am afraid.

    @EA_Leeuw i have the same problem and i tried your way, i copied the current files 50% of the game to external SSD , then deleted the game folder, and stared new download after 1% i paused the download and paste the game files from SSD into game folder but when i resume the download it start from 1% not from 50%
