Not being able to make purchases through EA

At first I wasn't able to buy anything in Sims 4 in the origin app nomad. It always said my killing code was wrong or to use another payment method. But everything was right and I have sufficient funds. I also deleted the app and redownloaded it but it didn't work. Then I wast online the EA website and it is still saying the same thing but I'm not sure why I cannot purchase anything.

    If you're seeing an error when trying to complete a purchase, please run through the following steps: 

    • Use a different payment method
    • Make sure your billing details in the EA app match the billing details for your card
    • Remove and re-add your payment method from your account
    • Make sure the location on your account matches your real location
