Origin & EA states it will not connect to servers

Question

Hello! I’ve been having issues with my pc not connecting to gaming servers like EA, Origin, Rockstar games, etc. The only server it will connect to is Steam. I also have the steam deck. On my steam deck, I can at least connect to Rockstar games &amp; Ea games. I was just wondering if there is something wrong that someone might be able to help me with? If it helps anything, I got my pc serviced by Asus for a charger fix and I have everything from my old save on my pc (just recently found that out.) Everything on my pc was working perfectly fine before I got it serviced. Nothing is installed from my old account on my pc, so I don’t believe that’s the problem. Or maybe, there’s a way to skip the EA launcher every time I try and play the sims 4? Thank you (-:

@ryanrossl0ver  Are you getting a specific message when you try to use Origin or the new EA App client?

I tried with the sims 3.&nbsp;Origin: “We’re sorry, an error has occurred. We are unable to connect to EA servers to activate The Sims 3 on this computer using this account. Please try again later.”&nbsp;EA app: (after clicking on the game, not even being able to download the game from the EA app itself.) “Something went wrong… The server encountered a mysterious error. Try again in a little bit.”

Hi&nbsp;@ryanrossl0ver&nbsp;lets try the following (only using EA App, ensure Origin is closed)&nbsp;

Run the&nbsp;System File Checker tool then Check for&nbsp;Windows&nbsp;and&nbsp;GPU&nbsp;updates&nbsp;&nbsp;
Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu &gt; Help &gt; App Recovery)&nbsp;
Connection&nbsp;and&nbsp;Advance Connection&nbsp;Guides&nbsp;
Untick&nbsp;the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)&nbsp;
Change&nbsp;DNS&nbsp;settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)&nbsp;&nbsp;
