PLEASE HELP SIMS 4 FOR MAC EA APP ISSUES

I have a Mac computer that is fully updated. I have been playing the sims 4 since it was released and own almost every single pack. I have been playing with the same families for over 9 years. I recently updated to the EA app from Origin and all of my content and houses I have been working on are gone. Please help.
