Purchased Xbox Game Pass for PC but EA app thinks I don't have EA Play

Just purchased the Xbox game pass for PC (says it includes EA play) and when I get redirected to the EA app, it says I don't have EA play. I checked that my account is linked and even log into EA through xbox. I have tried to log in/out multiple times to see if it needed to be resynced but that didn't do anything. I'm not sure what to do. Any idea how to solve this?

    I have the exact same issue. Xbox Support has just confirmed everything is setup correctly on my side, and my accounts are linked correctly.

    EA, please fix your app. I can access and play EA Play titles via Xbox Cloud Gaming, but can't install them on my PC or Xbox consoles without paying you full-price first? Uhhh, how 'bout "No."?
