Question about EA app installation on MacBook Air

Hello! So Im trying to download the EA app for my MacBook Air to play the sims and when I click the download EA app for Mac it downloads EA app.pkg. I was wondering if this is the right installation package since the tutorials Ive seen on YouTube show the download being EA app.dmg. Im not very knowledgable about computers or downloading games so I want to make sure I don't do anything wrong.

GFHFJHV​&nbsp; That's the correct download, and you can double-click it to open it if it doesn't launch on its own.&nbsp; I downloaded it on my Mac just now to make sure.&nbsp; Installers can come as a disk image (.dmg) but don't have to; .pkg is the file extension for an installer package, which is also a legitimate way to install Mac apps.
