I apologize EA_Leeuw for not replying to you sooner, you said we can install our games anywhere so how come we were told not to do a drive letter workaround in a Solved for Visibility post by another community manager which said, "While we appreciate the creative ways some of you have used to install to a different drive, the app is not designed for that." Why is it so dependent on Windows default installation folder? What if someone's boot drive is G: and not C: for work purposes. The company I am gigging for right now has a strict policy on not installing anything on the C: drive without IT's permission. Now I can't play until my contract is finished.
And when I say everything hinges on the app, I mean that even if you use an .exe shortcut on your desktop to run the game, it still loads the EA App in the background. So if you don't install the EA app on C: (because for whatever reason you can't) it doesn't matter that it allows you to put the games themselves on another drive, because they won't run. Unless, you know of something I was/am doing wrong.
Even if it says the reason why something is Solved for Visibility, it doesn't mean the issue is properly solved which causes confusion and sometimes anger if you are waiting for solutions especially if the problem leaves a game unplayable - so I appreciate you helping to consider a new label. There are many issues that need actual solves that we are anxiously awaiting.
Hi PurpleSweetTart,

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a "drive letter workaround." Currently, there's no official way to install the EA app itself on a different drive—it must be installed on the default Windows drive, which is usually the C: drive.
However, as mentioned earlier, you can choose a specific destination for game installations within the EA app settings, during the installation process for each game, or during the installation process of the client itself. You're free to select any drive for that part.
If you're unable to install the EA app because your company restricts installations on the default Windows drive (typically C:), I recommend reaching out to your IT department to request the necessary permissions.

It's by design that whenever a game requiring the EA app is launched, the EA app will automatically start in the background alongside the game.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to provide support for issues that arise from installing the EA app in ways it wasn’t intended to be installed. Doing so can lead to unexpected problems on its own.

Thank you once again for the feedback!
