I have just had the same problem with Star Wars Jedi Survivor, now I have to redownload over 150gb... its not hard to get a simple thing right EA. Something you just dont understand. If the issue is not fixed I will boycott EA access for good. What a joke.
Exactly what's just happened to me, 130GB 'update' when I go to play it for the 2nd time. Had to clear storage just for it since it apparently needed the extra room to update...
I also just had this problem, I went through the process of redownloading before the release so i didn't mind, but now that im actually getting into the game this has caused an almost 7 hour delay (Network isn't that great) Fix this problem please, I don't want other people to have to deal with this problem in the future.

Still happens... honestly I think I'm just gonna speed rush this game next time I can and be done with it. Every time I REALLY wanna play it, it needs to update it and when it does it downloads the WHOLE game... I wondered if it's because it's the EA Play Pro version. If I paid full price for this game and had all it's problems I'd be livid.
It's just this game too. Cuz Fifa just updated in like 5 minutes no problem. Also don't feel bad about network. It takes me 7 hours to update and re download it too and I'm on fios with very good connection.
