We don't fully support Steamdeck so there can be issues with using EA App on Steamdeck. @Sagna_The_Great,

@sophie5734 What have you tried and what kind of network setup do you have?

  • @EA_Atic I tried making EA an exception on my Firewall, and looking at anti-virus software. I also tried using an Ethernet cable to try and make sure there was no issue with my actual wifi. I have a subscription for fibre, and obviously a connected router for wifi. There was no difference for any of these things I tried. Not sure what might be getting in the way.

Hi @sophie5734, so are you using wifi or cable connection?

Somewhere the connection between EA App and our servers is being interrupted.

  • @EA_Atic I'm using wifi, but just used an Ethernet cable directly to see if there was an issue with my wifi settings, but it didn't change anything
  • Good day! Is there any update regardingt he "Temporarily Lost Connection" issue of the EA desktop app? I'm using windows and I have a good internet connection and my firewall does not restrict the ea app. I just want to play TS4 and the EA APP has been giving me a headache.

  • What i do is disable every protection in my antivirus, turn off all of them don't even let a single one is active (I'm using Kaspersky). Just wait a few seconds and try to open the EA app again, now see if it working, I hope it helps
