@EA_Illium I did just attempt those and they didn't help. The full error message I get is "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EADesktop\EALauncher.exe'. Make sure you typed the the name correctly, and then try again." Every time i look for it only the old version comes up which is classed as a word document. the launcher is the only file that I'm missing since the update.

Have you tried to Repair or Install the VC++ files for your game (Guide here)?

It was one of the first things I tried. I deleted and reinstalled the VC++ files a few times as well since then. Everytime I deleted the entire thing and reinstall it just tells me that windows can't find the EALauncher.exe File so I'm not sure what to do with it anymore.

Apologies for the delay, have you tested a new user or admin account to see if you can install and launch the EA app? 

If so we may want to uninstall it from your account using something like Revo uninstaller and verifying all files have been deleted, then restarting your device and trying to install once more to see if the issue persists. 

I finally managed to get a second admin account on it and it is still coming up as having been installed and then missing the launcher file.

yea i have the same problem too and i get the same message. uninstalling does not help and even the revo uninstaller says that it can't find the file. idk what to doooo

I'm missing the EA App Launcher too and all the .exe related to EA after updating the EA App. So I'm not the only one for this.

And I thought it was just me who couldn't find the .exe files! 

@olgailona yeah same. I think its just EA holding their apps together with tape and hope like always.

I think somehow the launcher is being duplicated. I was having the same issue. I just kept getting that stupid error that it can't find the launcher file, and my boyfriend just fixed it for me. He went to the program files of the app ( on my computer it was C:\Program Files\ Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop, then he clicked on EADesktop.exe and it launched. It will ask you for your EA login credentials. You just sign in. He created a short cut on my desktop to that file also. I hope this works for anyone else that tries it!

It doesn't make sense that it might duplicate the stupid file, but then tell you it can't be found. EA sucks lol

I just moved the EA folder to my desktop and it found the launcher to repair and its working. 

Well,... I'm going to try that. In that specific folder I only have EADesktop.exe.old and EALauncher.exe.old
I'm going to make a copy of each and rename the copies without the .old and see if that works.
Yesterday I played without any problems. And now it's gone......

In the main desktop folder I also have a folder named outdated desktop. Both the EADesktop AND the outdated EA desktop folders are from yesterday.

Well.... unfortunately that didn't work ☹️ Nothing happens when I double click on either of the files. Also, when I try to start TS4_Launcher_x64.exe nothing happens either....

Re-installing the EA app DID do the trick for me. I can now load everything without a hitch again!
